Compliance Certificates:

If your pool meets Queensland safety standards following inspection, we issue a Form 23 – Pool Safety Certificate. This certificate is legally required when:

  • Selling a property
  • Leasing a rental property
  • Operating short-term accommodation (e.g. Airbnb)

If your pool does not meet compliance standards, we issue a Form 26 – Nonconformity Notice, outlining exactly what needs to be rectified to achieve approval.

Our reports are clear, practical and focused on helping you reach compliance efficiently — without unnecessary delays.

You can also review our Compliance Tips and Blog for guidance on common pool barrier issues and how to prepare for inspection.  Compliance Tips / Blog

How to Prepare for Your Inspection:

A few simple steps can significantly improve your chances of passing your pool inspection the first time:

  • Ensure gates self-close and self-latch from any position
  • Remove climbable objects near the pool barrier (furniture, pot plants, BBQs, etc.)
  • Confirm your CPR sign is clearly visible and compliant
  • Check that no gaps in the barrier exceed 100mm

Taking the time to address these common issues before your inspection can help avoid delays and additional visits.
